Returns & Refunds

At The Makerie, every item is created with care and attention. Due to the nature of many of our products, please read the below carefully before placing your order.

Custom & Personalised Items

Unfortunately, custom or personalised items cannot be returned or refunded unless they arrive damaged or faulty.

This includes:

  • Keepsake items (ashes, flowers, hair, etc.)

  • Personalised gifts

  • Custom-made designs

These pieces are made specifically for you and cannot be resold. A proof will always be sent for your approval before production. If no feedback is received within 48 hours, I will go ahead and complete and dispatch your order to avoid delays.

Non-Personalised Items

If you are not completely happy with your item, you may return it within 14 days of receiving your order.

To be eligible for a return:

  • The item must be unused and in its original condition

  • It must be returned in its original packaging

Please note:

  • Return postage costs are the responsibility of the customer

  • Original delivery costs are non-refundable

Damaged or Faulty Items

If your item arrives damaged or faulty, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with:

  • Your order number

  • Photos of the item and packaging

We will arrange a replacement or refund where appropriate.

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected:

  • Refunds will be processed within 5–7 working days

  • Funds will be returned to your original payment method

Important Notes

  • Due to the handmade nature of many items, small variations and imperfections are part of the design and not considered faults

  • Colours may vary slightly due to screen settings
